Seriously, i haven been playing computer games for quite a few months already and i’m kinda used to life without Dota, L4D, Need For Speed, Fifa and etc.
But hey i think i’m going to stay home more often soon!!
After 3 whole years of torturing and ages since i first played one of the most successfull game in computer games history, Blizzard finally announces the date of release for Starcraft 2 : Wings of Liberty and it will be out on the 27th of July 2010!!
and that’s like er within 3 more months time!!
I’m so excited now not just because its an awesome game back then, but i have lots of memories with it, secondary school ones with the times i skip school/classes and etc! Can’t wait to get back in the same row with some old friends from school playing Starcraft 2!
For your information, “StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty” is the first in a trilogy of “StarCraft 2″ releases. This upcoming release focuses on the Terran side where the next two release will cover the Zerg and Protoss side.
That means this time round, gamers/fans will only get to explore/experience Starcraft 2 from the Terran side and not the other 2 races. The release date for the 2 other games is currently unknown.
Now i have to start saving money to get a new desktop computer, i think my trusty 5-6 years computer with a change in motherboard 2 years back will get me enjoying the game to the max when it’s out. Boo!
Note: the July 27th release date only applies to stores in United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. The game will not be available for purchase online until a short while after the retail boxed release.
